Unlished in 2011 just after Shift 2, this game passes a little bit the theme of racing as also you can play as a character wanted by ilegal racing and fraud to other racers. In this game there is also a History Mode which was then not introduced in Most Wanted and on... In History Mode you must race against the console (Single Player Mode) from San Francisco to New York (so there will be cops) and the price for then first place is 25M, don't worry, you can pause the game, click SAVE, go do another thing, come back, and continue. You don't need to spend 7 hours playing (really aprox 7 hours). Good grafics, good variation and VERY GOOD History Mode. If you want to start with the saga i would start with this one.
